How To Bridge Your Mac’s WiFi with Your Xbox 360
Here’s how to use the wireless connection on your Mac OSX Leopard computer to get your Xbox 360 online. You’ll need to connect your Mac and your 360 with a crossover Ethernet cable. I’m using a MacBook, and a separate network location for the Xbox settings.
Mac Settings:
- Sharing: Share from AirPort to Ethernet
- Network: Configure your AirPort as usual
- Network: Reorder services to place AirPort above Ethernet
- Ethernet IP: 10.10.10.1
- Ethernet Subnet: 255.255.255.0
- Ethernet Router: 192.168.1.1 (my router)
- Ethernet DNS: 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220 (OpenDNS)
- IP: 10.10.10.2
- Subnet: 255.255.255.0
- Gateway: 10.10.10.1 (my Mac)
- DNS: 192.168.1.1 (my router), 192.168.1.110 (my Mac’s AirPort address)
